Take a Virtual Tour of the Hospital!

This a view of our dog waiting area. There is a mirror image waiting area on the other side of the reception desk for our feline patients. This way, the dogs and cats don't get each other too excited while they wait for their appointments! There are video monitors in both waiting areas that play information on pet health care topics. |

This is a picture of part of one of our three exam rooms. We have separate exam rooms for dogs and cats, and we have a larger exam room for large dogs, so that they can be examined on the floor if necessary. Each exam room has a computer station that has instant Internet access, displays the patient's medical record and allows us to check clients out without ever having to leave the room. |
We have a full-service laboratory adjacent to the exam rooms. If a patient is critically ill, we can have test results very quickly so that we can start treatment as soon as possible. We can do complete blood counts (CBCs) in less than three minutes, and we can run a full blood chemistry profile in under 30 minutes. We also do heartworm tests, fecal tests, electrolyte levels and urine analysis in our laboratory. |
At the other end of the hallway, we have a well-stocked pharmacy so that prescriptions can be filled in just minutes. We stock a wide variety of heartworm and flea control products, as well as many prescription antibiotics, pain medications and other products to help keep our patients healthy. |

One of the focal points of the hospital is the treatment room. In this area, we can perform dentals and minor surgical procedures, and we can treat hospitalized patients. What cannot be seen in this picture is the 18-foot-high ceiling in this room. This brings in natural light and adds some visual excitement to the room. |
We have a fully-equipped operating room. We use gas anesthesia, and all surgical patients are monitored using a digital blood pressure monitor, an ECG machine and a pulse oximeter (which measures oxygen levels in the blood). Every patient also is monitored by a trained staff member at all times. |
After surgery, our patients are taken to the recovery areas. We have separate areas for dogs and cats. Each recovery area has several intravenous fluid pumps, as many of our patients are on IV fluids during and after their procedures. The pumps ensure that the patients get exactly the right amount of fluid therapy. |
We offer boarding services for our clients for both dogs and cats. Cats are housed in "kitty condos" and are kept separate from the dogs. They have plexiglass backs to provide natural light and an outdoor view. All boarding areas are equipped with web cameras that our clients can access so that they can see their pets from anywhere in the world! |

We are very pleased to be able to provide a visitation room for our clients. When a pet is hospitalized, it is natural for an owner to be concerned and to miss the pet. If a patient needs to be cared for in the hospital for an extended period of time, the owner can use this room to visit the pet in a private setting, away from the traffic and commotion of a busy medical practice. |
